2010 to Present - Director of Human Resources, Dickson Medical Associates, P.C., Dickson, Tennessee

Guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources, policies, employees, and programs for a company of 23 Physician shareholders with 7 sites.  Compensation and benefits administration, including health with Rx, dental and vision insurance, 401K profit sharing and safe harbor plan, Basic Life and AD&D, Short-term and Long-term for employees and owners.  Negotiate with varies companies and brokers to achieve maximum savings for employer and employees.  Negotiated over an $800,000.00 in savings with health care.  Compute compensation rates. Department budgeting. Ensure ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, and ADAAA laws are followed.  Comply with Affirmative Action Hiring Procedures, EEOC Compliances, and Labor Laws. Management guidance, recruiting and staffing, including employee orientation, development, and training, organizational planning and development, performance management, policy development and documentation, employee relations and employee services and counseling, company employee communication, employee safety, welfare, wellness and health. Report and managed Workers’ Compensation cases. Supervise Human Resources, safety and payroll department.  Responsible for payrolls for JWM and 3 sister companies (Kistler-McDougall, McDougall-Noorda Corporation and Construction Specialties of Alaska, LLC).  Process executive payroll for JWM, Kistler-McDougall, and Construction Specialties of Alaska through the Timberline accounting system.  Approved and assisted in Union payrolls and benefit payments.  Balance and reconcile General Ledger with Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Job Cost System, monthly, quarterly and annually.   Administer all of company benefits, health and dental, 401K, Basic Life and AD&D.  Prepare 940 & 941, W-2, W-3 filings, multi-state monthly and quarterly taxes, monthly billing for health insurances.  Report and processed all Workers’ Compensation cases.  Comply with Affirmative Action Hiring Procedures, Union Regulations, NLRB, EEOC Compliances, and Labor Laws.  Lead and contributed to the successful implementation of HR and Labor Relations projects which improved morale and reduced cost.  Participated in grievances to successful completions for all parties.  Key figure in arbitrations for grievances.  Daily contact with union employees and representatives at multi-state locations.  Strong track record of creating an environment that develops HR as a true partner to the success of the organization, employee development, key staffing, and planning for employee succession.
